Duties: We are seeking an individual who is serious about advancing within the industry and eager to gain experience in all facets of golf course maintenance. The preferred candidate will be willing to make a positive impact on the organization and help solve challenging situations. Working with a diverse group of people who are experts in their field, the job responsibilities include the supervision of golf course personnel and daily maintenance of the golf course. The individual will also perform all duties with a focus on exceptional customer service to members and attention to detail. He/she must be able to obtain a pesticide license within 12 months of employment. The candidate must have the ability to work within a team environment and have a strong vision for pursuing golf course management as a career. Punctuality and dependability is required. The position offers an opportunity to be promoted within the department and club. The position reports to the Director of Golf, Course Superintendent and Senior Assistant.
Salary: $38,000/neg. plus Housing (a $12,120 annual value).

Course Operation: The River Club is a private country club located in Suwanee. Amenities include and 18-hole golf course designed by Greg Norman, clubhouse, swim and tennis facilities.
Duties: Responsible for all plant material on the golf course, clubhouse grounds and swim and tennis facility. This will include but not limited to bed design and installation; irrigation repair and scheduling, fertility; pesticide application; mowing; pruning; scouting; developing long term landscape plan for the golf course.
Salary: $16 - $17 per hour.

Senior Assistant Superintendent

Course Operation: Private 18-hole facility located in East Cobb, course opened in 1964 and held PGA Tour events until the mid-90's including the inaugural Tournament Player's Championship. The Course is composed of A-1 Bent grass greens, 419 fairways and rough, and Zoysia Tees.
Duties: The Senior Assistant will assist the Golf Course Superintendent with supervision, training, planning, and evaluating staff and processes. Attention to detail and ability to communicate to staff is key in providing a safe, highly effective and efficient team. The Senior Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and therefore is an integral part of the management team at Atlanta Country Club. This position will allow candidate to gain knowledge and be active in the budgeting process. This includes planning, negotiating, purchasing, and executing the budget on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
